We knew that last weekend’s boat trip would make this weekend pretty hard to beat, but I’d have to say that the past few days definitely held their own. While Michael was visiting his family in North Carolina, I entertained friends from Boston who treated me to a yummy dinner at Local 188. On Sunday we woke up bright and early to drive out to Sebago Lake for the Pirate Triathlon. Michael snapped a few photos of me as I made my way through the course. Afterwards we celebrated with lobster rolls at The Lobster Shack with my cousin and his wife who were visiting from North Carolina. (I continued the celebration a bit further late last night by snacking on my first batch of homemade chocolate coconut ice cream!)
Hopefully you all had a busy, tasty weekend too – happy Monday!
Awesome job, Mere! Looking pretty bad ass in that wet suit! :-D
HA. You are hilarious!
The lobster roll looks yummy :) I also did a tri this weekend but it was supposed to be in the ocean at the Cape on Sat. morning, so the tropical storm made it a run, bike, run instead of swim haha. You look like you did great at yours!
Sorry to hear about the weather at your race, Kelly. I bet you rocked it anyway!
Wow, Meredith! I didn’t know that you did triathlons! Congratulations! You look awesome :) Like a natural!
Thanks, friend – you’re so sweet!
