Michael & I traveled down to Newport, Rhode Island to photograph a wedding on Friday, and given that I had two more weddings to shoot in Maine over the next two days, we enjoyed our “weekend” on Thursday! Of course, we’ll write a full post about our adventures in Newport, but we couldn’t resist sharing a peek into our quick trip through our Instagrams. Randomly spotting a Del’s Lemonade truck in nearby Jamestown was probably the highlight of the trip for both of us – it’s our favorite! We enjoyed a fantastic evening out that night in Newport, and woke up the next morning ready to tackle both the Cliff Walk, a scenic trail along the coast behind many of the town’s mansions, and the wedding we were shooting at Rosecliff!

While I was shooting the next two weddings, Michael spent his time catching up on work and taking care of Orvis. My third and final wedding of the weekend led me through some of the most beautiful farmland in midcoast Maine – I always love driving through the towns of Hope & Appleton!
