This weekend was pretty much all about food. Friday night we decided, somewhat spontaneously, to head out to one of our very favorite restaurants, The Well at Jordan’s Farm. The weather that evening was all too perfect and we ended up sharing one of the tastiest meals of the year on a picnic table with Orvis – the best way to kick off a weekend!

While we were out running some errands in the Old Port on Saturday we decided to pop into Blue Rooster for a couple of hot dogs and some tater tots, and were quickly reminded why we recommend Blue Rooster to nearly everyone looking for a good meal in the heart of Portland.

On Sunday we had our friends, Nina & Aaron, over for an informal rosé tasting & a French-themed dinner party on the patio to celebrate Bastille Day. Just about a year ago the four of us traveled to France for the same wedding (Nina was a bridesmaid and I was shooting the wedding) and stayed in a two room B&B in a tiny town outside of Lyon. It was so much fun to get together with them a year later and reminisce about our shared adventures in France!
