I don’t really remember when I first fell in love with the Shelby Cobra, but for much longer than I’ve known Meredith, this vehicle has been my absolute dream car. Something about its perfect mix of 1960’s sports car style and power leaves me daydreaming about being behind the wheel of my own one day, like an 8 year-old running around with his arms out, grabbing at an invisible steering wheel, and making engine revving noises with his mouth.

When we stumbled upon this one in Pinehurst, NC on a recent trip, I think I made an audible squeal. It’s an amazing-enough car on film and in google image searches, but seeing one up close in person – having the chance to notice the smallest of details – is simply amazing. One day.
