Seeing these photos from Sarah of Smitten Studio has me thinking about planning a trip to Wyoming to visit my family and show Michael where I was born.
Ever since browsing the 2007 J.Crew catalog shot on Isle of Skye, the Scottish island has been on my bucket list of dream trips, and thanks to their newest Style Guide, I’m now adding the Cotswolds to that same list.
Now that we’ve visited Sonoma, our next wine country must is Napa. Of course, I cannot imagine returning to Northern California and not visiting Scribe or the coast, but when we make plans to visit Napa someday, we’ll surely be consulting this city guide from Garance Doré.
It looks like this weekend is going to be pretty chilly for most of the country, so we hope you bundle up and stay warm, whatever your plans are. Maybe it’s a good weekend to make an apple pie and some hot cocoa… I know Michael’s hoping that we will!
Jeff lived in Scotland and England from the time he was ten to thirty and has family all over the island so we go over to the UK twice a year for several weeks at a time. If you and Michael would ever like travel advice or if the stars align and would like to meet up with us in the UK to check these places out, Jeff makes a great tour guide and driver! :)
I love the Isle of Skye. Great place, absolutely beautiful. I was there in ’94 and recall there being few options for eats, but my folks were there recently and said that’s changed. If I had the chance to go back now, I’d do what I should have done back then: visit the Talisker distillery.
