Our weekend here in Maine was a fairly ‘normal’ one, but I wouldn’t change a single thing about it! I shot a wedding just north of Portland, my closest one to home since June -it felt so wonderful to sleep in my very own bed after a long day of shooting. While I was gone Michael had the chance to do some yard work, watch the Tarheels play, and enjoy a meal with good friends! On Sunday we carved our pumpkins (something that is taken quite seriously by Michael!) and made a delicious soup that we’ll be continuing to eat for the next couple of days.

We’re looking forward to what this week holds for us – a Halloween tradition with a close friend, a celebratory meal, and sharing a few fun posts on the blog!
