At Home with 2 Note

I steer clear of the bathtub all summer, opting for showers instead, but as soon as the temperatures begin to dip and the sun starts to set around 4pm, a warm soak in our clawfoot tub is all I can think about by the day’s end. Although our dear friends, Darcy & Carolyn, moved their all-natural skincare shop, 2 Note, to Hudson, New York a few years ago, their products will always be some of my very favorites. To celebrate our recently-ish renovated downstairs bathroom, I bought a handful of my favorite products from 2 Note to add a little life (and a lovely scent) to the room. This definitely is not a sponsored post – it’s merely a testament to the quality of our talented friends’ products and a good excuse to play around with the new moody dark green in the bathroom.

The French lavender, black pepper, and sandalwood that make up 2 Note’s signature Opus 1 scent is our go-to for theirĀ hand soap, and their room spray. Our guests repeatedly comment on how their hands are left silky smooth after washing up with 2 Note soap. Pre-soak, I love using the pineapple, green tea, and papaya-infused Gliss Body Polish, which is followed by a dip in the tub with a generous supply of Mineral Soaking Salts from the Dead Sea. A new to me product this time around was the Whipped Body Butter. A little of this scent-free shea butter and coconut oil mixture goes a long way and will last several months.

With the holiday season upon us, we think 2 Note products not only make fantastic gifts, but they’re also a great source to stock up on luxurious toiletries for any guests you might be hosting in the next few weeks.
