Sea Glass Cape Elizabeth

Photo of our fall meal at Sea Glass at the Inn by the Sea!

One of these classic sangria recipes from Smitten Kitchen might be the perfect thing to serve at your next summer cookout, no? Although, this simple Pink Gin I spotted on A Crimson Kiss looks just as tasty. You choose!

After seeing a photo of Le Domaine aux Quat Saisons on Habitually Chic this morning, I promptly googled the hotel and ended up at photographer, Polly Alexandre’s blog. It looks like the most charming place to stay in Rieux Minervois… especially with three dachshunds running around the property.

Have you seen this list of summer rental properties from New York Magazine yet? The lakeside hideaway in CT isn’t quite in the travel budget, but the Balinese House in the Hudson Valley or The William Brown Cabin in Hankins, NY might be!

Designer/photographer, Jennifer Chong spent a quick 36 hours in New York City recently and managed to squeeze in so many sites, shops, and good food while she was there. I’m keeping her list in mind for our trip down next month!

I know I link to Jamie Beck’s photographs on Weekend Reads quite a bit, but how could I not include these photos of her recent trip to the South of France?

The Boston Globe released this list of 19 of the best places for summertime food in New England. More than a few Maine restaurants made the cut, including one of our favorites, Sea Glass at the Inn by the Sea!

We hope you all have a lovely long weekend!

  1. I linked to Jennifer’s 36 Hours in NYC post last week too. She made such a great list! Now I just need to plan another trip so I can go through her suggestion.
