Weekend Reads

A peek at the bookcase we had built last month!

This time of year, Michael & I find ourselves eating as many meals as possible outside. These Salmon Skewers with Cucumber Yogurt Sauce from Sprouted Kitchen will definitely be happening on the patio soon.

Jessie Webster’s photos of Martha’s Vineyard have certainly inspired me to plan a trip down someday. Can Michael & I really call ourselves New Englanders if we’ve never been to Martha’s Vineyard? (Or Nantucket for that matter!)

Michael Cain would put Nutella on just about anything in our kitchen. I think we need to give this Chocolate Hazelnut Spread from A House in the Hills a shot.

I just picked up the tastiest strawberries at the farmer’s market yesterday and they’re already almost gone. When I go back for more, I plan on making at least one of these strawberry infused recipes from Manger. (I haven’t shared any Manger posts on Weekend Reads yet, but let it be known that I’m slightly obsessed with this blog. The food, the French countryside, the imagery, the dogs… perfection.)

Vanessa Jackman’s travel posts are some of my favorites, and these images from Kangaroo Island, Australia remind me why I love them so.

Wouldn’t Map & Menu be 100x cooler if Michael or I could create maps like these by Masako Kubo?

Do you have any exciting weekend plans? I’m excited to swing by the MECA Summer Art Sale, catch up with some friends from Boston, and then hang out with my cousin and his wife later this weekend! Happy Friday!
