This weekend was a fairly low-key one, and I have to say, I wouldn’t have changed a thing about it. Friday’s tragic events in Newtown left both of us feeling all kinds of emotions, and thankfully, we had the chance to spend at least part of the weekend with various family members. Michael was in North Carolina visiting his family (and my sister’s family!) and I took Saturday to head up to Wiscasset to catch up with my parents before they head down south for the winter.

Part of Michael’s visit to North Carolina included a trip to one of his favorite places – the Dean Dome in Chapel Hill to watch the Carolina game! My weekend up here pretty much consisted of fawning over the dogs in my life (per usual) and catching up on work.
